Renove Biomass

As well as boiler supply, Renove works together with clients on consultancy basis. Current tasks include:

Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) assistance.

We are currently working with a number of clients to speed up the Renewable Heat Incentive application process. These are often legacy biomass applications from July 2009 that may need modifications (normally metering), or clients that may have partially completed an application but require assistance to complete. Typically we can complete RHI applications in a four to six week period as long as the installation is fully eligible.

Manufacturer MCS Product Accreditation

We have worked with a number of manufacturers to help them gain MCS accreditation for their product ranges in the UK. This service includes costing, initial application, feedback on the UK market, and all communication between the MCS providers and the manufacturer. Renove will project manage the process from start to finish. Typical accreditation including the factory inspection can take up to six months.

Clean Air Exemption

Many urban areas including most cities have strict environmental and pollution standards and are governed by the Clean Air Act. In order for Biomass appliances to be installed in these areas, it is necessary for them to be listed on the Clean Air Exemption List. Renove can provide technical assistance for manufacturers wishing to successfully be listed. This includes initial costing and application, and project management of the complete application process.

Continued Professional Development CPD

Renove have held a number of seminars on the benefits of Biomass heating and the current state of the UK marketplace for various professional organisations. We can also provide proprietary courses on the Renewable Heat Incentive, biomass systems and system design.
